Survey - Inclusive Education Experiences of Parents in Malaysia
Invitation to parents to participate in a survey:
This
survey is for parents in Malaysia to share their inclusive education
experiences for children with special needs attending primary school.
Inclusion means your child is placed in the mainstream class (not the
integration class) alongside other children.
We would like to capture recent positive or negative experiences with both Ministry of Education (MOE) schools as well as private or international & home schools.
We would like to give feedback to MOE and the public about the current status of inclusive readiness of schools and the need to promote this.
Thank you.
Amar-Singh HSS (Dato’ Dr)
Alvin Teoh (Parent, child with Blindness, Penang)
Shyielathy Arumugam (Parent, child with Autism, Ipoh)
Sarini Bujang (Parent, child with Cerebral Palsy, KL)
Edmund Lim (Parent, child with SMA, KL)
Ng Lai Thin (NECIC)
On Behalf of National Parents Support Groups
Parents who should respond include those who:
1. Have a child with special needs
2.
Have attempted inclusive education into primary school in the past 3
years (whether successful or not does not matter, as long as tried)
Note: This survey will only run from 01/10/2018 to 31/10/2018
Please respond BEFORE 31/10/2018
